Darina

Today I became a Guardian Angel for a little girl named Darina! (A guardian Angel is someone who helps fundraise for a specific child.  She is a sweet little girl who needs a loving family. This is her picture. She has CP (plus other things) and you can learn more about her from the Reece's Rainbow web site. You can click her name to find out more about her. (Oh yeah, if you've never seen my blog before I have other kids on my first post that need to be adopted. You can click their names to find out more about them too.)

Prayer

Prayer. This one word is very powerful. It can definitely change lives. I know that from experience. I remember when I was young and my brother was sick. Every night we would get down on our knees and pray for him to get better. Guess what, he did! Another experience was when I was a very sick baby. One day the doctors said I was going to die. My mom and dad prayed and prayed for me to get better. As the next few days went by I was getting stronger and stronger! God definitely is the Great Physician.

I say all that to say this, prayer is very powerful. It's so powerful that it's worth saying twice! Last night before I went to sleep I prayed for the kids that I put on my blog. I know the economy is bad and money is tight, but all I want to ask you is this. All I'm asking is for you to pray for the children on the reece's rainbow website who need a family. Who knows, maybe God is calling you to adopt one of these children from another country!

My First Post

I can't believe I made a blog! I mean, I've seen other people's blogs, but I never thought I would have made one.
My sisters and I watched a movie with mom about children in Bulgaria who were in an institution. While I watched it my heart broke. The children in that institution varied in disabilities: Cerebral Palsy,  Autism, Down's Syndrome, and many others. When we finished watching it, we all had about the same emotions. Mostly we were angry and sad. After I watched that video I couldn't (and still can't) stop thinking about the children in orphanages in other countries. I believe every child needs a loving home.

My title for this blog is very true. Everyone is special in God's eyes. We are all made by God.  That doesn't mean one person is better than another person.

Here are a few children with Cerebral Palsy I'm advocating for.

I just want to go and hug her!

Look at how sweet she looks!
