Missy

                                                                         Missy

Oh, look at this little girl! Not that long ago I looked at the newly listed children page and I saw little Missy on it. It breaks my heart to look at her picture and imagine her laying in a crib all day. She has CP. She would be in a much better condition with a family that loves her and getting the therapy she needs. Please help me pray for her and everyone else that I have on my blog. (As always, click on her name to see her profile.)

Prayer is the best tool we have as Christians to help these children. If prayer and advocating for these children helped Gabby find a forever family, then prayer and advocating can help Missy and everyone else find a forever family. If God can do it, (and we know He can) and if it's His will, then He will do it. All we need to do is have faith.

(Update on the CP video) I'm still working on it. I found the songs that I want to put in it and I'm still working on getting the pictures. I haven't figured out how to get some footage of a couple of them to add in the video. Don't worry though. I'll figure it out. Please pray that God will use the video to help these children on RR.

Gabby has a family!

Oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness!!!!! Gabby has a family!!!

Earlier today I was looking at someone else's blog and they said that Gabby had until June 10th and then RR wouldn't be showing her profile anymore. Now, as I looked at MFFM I saw her on it!

I really didn't expect to see her on there tonight, but I hoped that soon she would be on that page. I was actually praying a few minutes ago and I asked God to at least have her on there in 5 days or less. I never expected to see her there in less than 10 minutes. Oh I'm so happy for her!!! Thank you Jesus!!! Prayer is so powerful!!!

Please help me pray that the adoption goes well.

Reid and Carolina

Ok, two more. I know I said that on my last post, but I can't leave these two out. There's a boy named Reid and a girl named Carolina. Reid is 5 and he has CP. You can click on his name to see his profile.
Doesn't he look like a handsome boy? Wouldn't he thrive in a loving family he can call his own?

Reid

Please help me pray for Reid and Carolina. They both need families soon.
I'm definitely going to put them in the video I'm making.

Carolina

Isn't she adorable? Carolina just turned 6 ten days ago. You can click on her name to see her profile. I'm not sure if she is going to an institution soon or not. She can walk a little bit, and she can say a few words. Wouldn't speech therapy and PT help her so she can walk and talk without any problems? Shouldn't she be in a family who loves and cares for her? Shouldn't she be smiling and happy with her family?
I think so.

Another thing I saw was that Gabby only has until June 10th to get adopted. : (  Won't someone step up in faith and say I want to adopt her?

Noel

Ok, honestly I don't care at this point how many children with CP I have on my blog right now. I know I have a lot, but would it harm anyone to put two more on? (for right now at least) They have the same name, and you can find them both when you click on their name above their pictures. They are both girls, but the Noel on the bottom has severe CP.  On her profile it says that she ( Noel on the bottom ) is "just existing." To me that is just sick and wrong. None of these kids should just be existing. They should be living healthy and happy lives with families that love them just like the rest of us. Please help me pray for these two girls along with everyone else on RR.'
I also have a prayer request. There's a lady on the RR facebook page and she is feeling kind of depressed. She needs to raise $7,000- $9,000.00 to be fully funded so she can get her little girl home. Please help me pray that she will be able to get the funds so she can be with her little girl.
Another thing I'd like to say is that Kurt has more that $50.00 in his account! For such a long time I've seen his profile and he only had $10.00. I'm so glad there are people who want to help these kids. It makes me so happy.

There's one more thing I'd like to say. I had an idea to make a video and put all the children with CP that are on RR in it. My sister helped me pick out the songs for the video and in a while I'll be putting it up on my blog. It may be a while before it is up though. But I'll definitely be putting it up so please be patient.

Edena has a family!

Edena has a family! Yes, you read that right. Edena has a family! Oh, I'm so happy!!!! I actually clicked on the MFFM page twice to see if I saw that right. I can't believe it!!!!!

The first time I saw her she 1: didn't have a family, and 2: didn't have a lot of money in her account. As I kept looking at her profile, I saw that her account was going up and up and up. Now today as I looked on the MFFM page I saw her name on it!!!! I couldn't be happier for her!!! Please pray that everything works out and that her adoption goes smoothly.

Since Edena has a family I'm going to put another boy on here. His name is Ivan, and he has CP. He is just the cutest little boy you will ever see. If you click on his name you will see his profile. Are you his mommy and daddy?

Simeon

Yipee!!!! Now Simeon has over $2,000.00 in his account!!! He still needs a family so keep praying for him. I hope I get to see him on the My Family Found Me page on RR soon. Not only him, but I want to see all the children that I have on my blog on that page soon. When I see them on that page I'll be jumping up and down because I'll be so happy for them.

Maybe we can help another child in need with their grant. Like I said about Edena, the sooner they can get seen the better right? I mean, if they can have a sizable grant then more people can see them and they have a better chance of getting adopted. Wouldn't that be great?

Simeon

This is Simeon. He is five years old and in desperate need for a family. If he doesn't get one soon, then he will spend the rest of his life in an institution. My family and I love him so much and we don't want him to go into an institution. He deserves to be loved and cared for by a loving family.

Today an anonymous donor said that they would do a $500 matching grant through Sunday night for Simeon. A matching grant means that if anyone donates money to Simeon's account, the donor would match it up to $500. If someone gives a dollar, then the donor will give a dollar. It doesn't matter how much is given. Every penny counts.

Blessings

Earlier today I was thinking about blessings. Why does God bless us anyway? Well, I was thinking about that question and I came up with one answer. God blesses us so we can bless others. I know we've all heard that before, but today I just happened to be really thinking about it. God has given us food, clothing, shelter, clean water, a loving family, etc. He blesses us, but what we choose to do with that blessing is up to us.

The first thing I think about when it comes to blessings is the time when Jesus fed the five thousand men. (plus women and children) That little boy could have kept the bread and fish for himself. But what did he do instead? He gave what he had to Jesus and as a result more than five thousand people were fed.

How does that apply to us today? We have more than just five loaves of bread and two fish. We have a testimony, don't we? That alone is powerful. I can definitely say that for sure.

I remember when I told my testimony on time. After I told my testimony many people came to me and said that they were blessed by what I said. Every time someone said that I was very encouraged. I mean, these were people much older than me and I had blessed them in just a few minutes of telling my testimony. The only other thing I can say is wow!

Now, back to the children on my blog. Maybe God is calling you to bless these children with a loving family and a loving home. Or, maybe God is calling you to help another family get their children from an orphanage. If you pray and ask God to lead you and guide you, I promise that he will always answer that prayer. Does that mean that things will happen that minute? No, but even though it may take time and hard work to get it done, it's always worth it in the end.

Edena

Ok, I was looking at my kids that I have on my blog on RR, and Edena's money went up! Not only is it up, but it's over $50.00! Woohoo! Please help me pray that Kurt, Marla, Natalee, and Darina's money goes up. Also help me pray that the right families will find them too. They need our help to get them out of the orphanages and into loving homes.

I Refuse

Well, earlier today I was listening to the song by Josh Wilson called, "I Refuse." While I was listening to it, these lines really caught my attention. Here are what they are. "I can hear the least of these, crying out so desperately. And I know we are the hands and feet, of You oh God. So if You say move, it's time for me to follow through, and do what I was made to do. And show them who you are!" The chorus is really good too. Actually, the whole song is really good. The first thing I thought of was the children on the Reece's Rainbow site.
These children want a family to love them and care for them. We can't just sit back and pretend like these problems don't exist. This is the real world, and they do exist. We are the hands and feet of God. We are called to be like Jesus and to take care of the orphans and widows. (Read James 1:27.)

Ok, I know that I've put up children with CP on my blog, but I felt like I had to put this little girl up. She has HIV, but I feel like if she is seen as soon as possible by her forever family, she could have a better chance of getting adopted. I know that there are other children with HIV, CP, Down Syndrome, etc, but I felt like I should at least get her noticed. Please pray that the right families for these children go and get them quickly.
